About Dallas Outreach

We serve as an extension of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, acting as a liaison between tribal members and tribal programs. Our core services include connecting tribal members with the appropriate Comanche Nation departments that offer non-local services and programs, as well as external resources when needed. We assist with the application process, provide applications and information for convenience, keep members informed about Comanche Nation events, and host cultural activities. Referrals

Our Referral services help connect tribal members with the assistance and resources they need. We refer members to the appropriate Comanche Nation non-local service departments, as well as other relevant programs or resources, as needed. Application Support

Our Application Support services assist tribal members with the application process for Comanche Nation non-local services(s) and other programs or resources as necessary. We can help with submitting an application, tracking the application status, and provide a follow-up to ensure tribal members receive the assistance they need. In addition, we can provide applications and/or information to members for their convenience.

News & Events

Our News & Events services help keep non-local tribal members connected. We offer outreach events and cultural activities, and keep tribal members informed on upcoming and current Comanche Nation events.

Peer Advising

Our Peer Advising services support tribal members in in navigating academic and professional processes. We offer mentorship and guidance with professional processes, including completing applications for FAFSA, scholarships, college admissions, and more.

Career Planning

Our Career Planning services support tribal members as they navigate new career opportunities or transition into different professions. We offer career exploration and preparation assistance, including mock interviews and reviewing resumes, cover letters, and essays.

Community Pantry

Our community pantry is a local initiative designed to provide free, basic necessities to all tribal members in Texas, including non-perishable food, water/juice, toiletries, clothing, shoes, towels, and blankets. Resources are limited as we are stocked through donations from the community. For those interested in making a donation, please contact us.
