Mission

The Comanche Nation Early Childhood Development Centers are here to provide quality services through partnerships with families, providers, and the community while nurturing the development of the whole child and supporting cultural and family values.

About

  • Tribally Operated Facility 
  • Accepts certain Tribal Subsidy and Private Pay (call for more info)
  • Full-time attendance is mandatory. Call for more information. 
  • Trained and Certified Teaching Personnel and Management 
  • Family services providing support, guidance, and referrals, as necessary, to all families; as well as providing engagement activities, and supportive collaborations with other tribal and non-tribal organizations
  • Follows Child and Adult Food Program Guidelines

Enrollment Requirements

Completed Childcare Application (items below are needed after the child is accepted into our program)

  • Copy of official Birth Certificate
  • If applicable: Copy of child’s Medical Insurance Card
  • Current Immunization Record
  • Children with asthma: Copy of Asthma Plan
  • Color copy of Guardian(s) DL or other form of ID
  • If applicable: Color copy of Tribal Membership card for child and guardian(s)
  • Children with allergies: Allergy Documentation from Physician (food, skin, medication, insect bites, seasonal, etc.) A full list of all food allergies must be on file.
  • Completed Welcome Packet

Services

  • Provide care for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years
  • Breakfast, lunch & snack served daily
  • Developmental Screenings:
  • ASQs
  • Vision Screening
  • Dental Screening
  • Speech Screening
  • Family conferences and engagement activities
  • Off-site learning activities and field trips

Discrimination Policy:

However, if a child’s handicap condition requires special therapy and care needed by a trained specialist, we cannot accept the child due to not being able to meet his or her daily care and safety needs.
