Tribal Member Participates as Christmas Parade Marshal

In Apache, Oklahoma, Comanche Tribal Member Rylin Wilson was the parade marshal for a Christmas Parade.

He said it was awesome to lead the parade on Saturday, December 6.

“Just being here and seeing people and waving at them,” Wilson said.

His family began decorating a few days before the event, but this isn’t his first time being a part of big events.

“Well, I'm a cancer patient, I have a lot of journeys, I've done a lot of stuff, and you know,” Wilson said.

He enjoys the holiday season.

“Just like feeling the Christmas spirit and like presents and having fun,” Wilson said.

As for his message to his community…

“I'm just really thankful that they chose me grand marshal and all the support and love that I get from my town,” Wilson said.

His favorite Christmas present was a drone, and Wilson enjoys seeing the aerial view.
