Comanche County Tournament Completes Elimination Rounds

On Thursday, January 22, Comanche County Basketball Tournament continued at Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma. Due to weather delays, all boys’ and girls’ elimination games were played.

Tipton Lady Tigers and Big Pasture Lady Rangers hit the hardwood with a halftime score of Walters 37, Tipton 22.

Gracie Tahpay would get her name on the board, and Big Pasture would win 36 to 32.

Tipton and Walters boys would face off, with Walters leading 37 -22 at halftime.

Blue Devil Trevin Reed would sink a basket, and Walters would win 68 to 61. 

Sterling and Indiahoma girls tipped off with a halftime score of 27 to 18.

Lady Tigers would win 69 to 38 over Lady Warriors.

Geronimo and Indiahoma boys tipped off with a halftime score of Warriors 39, Blue Jays 23.

Blue Jay Charles Richardson would get his name on the board, and so would Warrior Joesyah Johnson.

Their game would end 76 Indiahoma to 66 Geronimo.

Walters Lady Blue Devils and Geronimo Lady Blue Jays tipped off with Lady Blue Jay Abbey Huffman scoring early.

Their game would tie 43-43 and end with an overtime score of Walters 55 to Geronimo 47.

Chattanooga and Sterling boys would tip off with Warrior Owen McCoin sinking three.

Their game ended Chattanooga 73, Sterling 44.

The final girls’ game of the night was Fletcher Wild Cats and Chattanooga Warriors, with a halftime score of Fletcher 23 to Chattanooga 18.

The game would end in Chattanooga 49, Fletcher 38, with Warrior Maddie Koweno getting her name on the board.

Big Pasture and Fletcher boys closed the night with a halftime score of Rangers 25 to Wild Cats 20.

Wild Cat Kindyn Camarena would get a layup, and the final score would be Big Pasture 55 to Fletcher 43.

Finals will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, at Great Plains Coliseum.

Consultation finals will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, at Chattanooga High School.
