  • Photo Identification of Parents/Foster Parent(s)
  • Documentation for Placement of Youth or Safety Plan Documentation
  • Utility Bill(s)
  • Rental Lease Agreement
  • Invoice for Service

How to Apply

If you have never applied with ICW or have not applied since October 1, 2024, then please fill out the ICW CNG Application.

Please provide all the supporting documentation and email it to icw@comanchenation.com, or you are welcome to bring it by our office!

If you have applied since October 1, 2024, then please fill out the ICW CNG Renewal Application.

Supporting documentation is only needed once a FY (October 1 – September 30), unless you are requesting financial assistance, in which case, the most recent bill must be submitted.

Please email your completed application to icw@comanchenation.com, or you are welcome to bring it by our office!

After all documentation is submitted, a short assessment will be completed, and assistance will be determined. You will be notified by phone within 1 to 2 business days of what assistance will be provided.


How to Become a Tribal Foster Home with Comanche Nation Indian Child Welfare

If you would like to receive information on how to become a foster parent, please fill out this form, and our Foster Care Specialist will respond to you as soon as possible.

Form Submission

Here are the steps if you are interested in moving forward in the process:

  1. Fill out an application
  2. Have a background check completed (done by ICW)
  3. Have a Home Study completed by our Foster Care Specialist
  4. Complete 27 hours of Foster Care Training
  5. Obtain approval and become Certified through ICW 
  6. Sign your Foster Care Agreement
  7. Open your home to Comanche youth who are in care
