3. Oct 23, 08. CIVA did military funeral honors for deceased veteran, Rev. Wilfred Ralph Niedo, Cache KCA Inter Tribal Cemetery, Cache, Okla.

4. Oct 25, 08. CIVA installed a military headstone for deceased Houston Klinekole, Fort Cobb Cemetery, Ft Cobb, Okla.

5. Oct 27, 08. CIVA installed a military headstone for deceased veteran Harry Schrock, Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Okla.

6. Oct 27, 08. CIVA installed a military headstone for deceased veteran Orville Neconie, Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Okla.

7. Oct 30, 08. CIVA did military funeral honors for deceased veteran, Robert C. Chebahtah, Deyo Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

8. Nov 10and 11, 08. CIVA held the 33rd Annual Veterans Day Celebration, Comanche Nation Community Center, Apache, Okla. Honored; 7 Veterans and 10 Auxiliary.

9. Nov 15, 08. CIVA did military funeral honors for deceased veteran, Abner “Edgar” Yackeschi, USCM, Walters Cemetery, Walters, Okla.

10. Nov 18, 08. CIVA did military funeral honors for deceased veteran, Gerald W. Hernasy, US Navy, Deyo Mission Baptist Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

11. Nov 26, 08. CIVA did military funeral service for deceased veteran, Kerwin “Tony” Komah, US Army, Deyo Mission Baptist Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

12. Dec 1, 08. CIVA did military funeral service for deceased veteran Errol K. Choney, US Air Force, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, Okla.

13. Dec 10, 08. CIVA did military funeral honors for deceased veteran, Clifton K. Cable, US Army, KCA Cemetery, Cache, Okla. Comanche Nation Law Enforcement provided a Firing Squad; Paul Reed Kieran Daly, Patrick Craig, John Wood, and Ron Burke.

18. February 19, 2009. CIVA installed a military marker for deceased veteran Curwin Tony Komah, Deyo, Baptist Mission Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

19. February 19, 2009. CIVA installed a military marker for deceased veteran Milton V. Pewo, Cache Creek KCA Cemetery, Apache, Okla.

20. February 19, 2009. CIVA installed a military marker for deceased veteran Wilfred R. Niedo, Cache KCA Cemetery, Cache, Okla.

23. April 15, 2009. CIVA installed a Military Headstone for deceased Viet Na.m War Veteran Eugene Mithlo Sr, US Army, Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, Okla.

24. March 18, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Roland Torralba, US Army, Cedar Creek Cemetery, Carnegie, Okla.

25. March 4, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Delbert Toquothty, Okla.lahoma National Guard, US Army, Walters Cemetery, Walters, Okla.

26. April 1, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral honors for deceased veteran Ernest J. Fawbush, US Navy, Deyo Mission Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

27. April 20, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Frankie Wauahdooah, US Army, Little Washita Cemetery, Fletcher, Okla.

28. May 6, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Airman Henry “Hank” Kostzuta, US Air Force. He was born Dec 30, 1928 and passed away May 2, 2009, KCA Cache Creek Cemetery, Apache, Okla.

29. May 14, 2009, CIVA presented the colors at the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center during the Military Blessing and opening exhibit featuring Sa.m Pahdopony, GM 2nd Class, US Navy, the first Comanche Nation Frogman, WWII.

30. May 15, 2009. CIVA presented the colors at the Comanche Nation Casino boxing match featuring Grady Brewer and George Tahdooanippah.

31. May 16, 2009. CIVA did honors during the Armed Forces Day Celebration at the Comanche Nation Community Center, Apache, Okla. for the following honorees; Vernon Cable, Ra.mona Gooday, Roger Tehauno, Eldridge Tahdooahnippah, Nathanial Woomavovah, Frank Hubbard, Jose Gallegos, Tracey R. Lanzot, and Juanita Pahdopony.

32. May 16, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Claude Caddo. He was born July 12, 1947 and passed away May 13, 2009 in Clinton, Okla. with burial in Deyo Baptist Mission Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

33. May 7, 09. CIVA presented Casket Flag to Jan Ototivo to replace lost flag.

34. May 23, 09. CIVA installed Military Marker for deceased US Navy Veteran “Doc” Sa.muel Pewewardy, Rainy Mountain Cemetery, Mt View, Okla.

35. June 12, 09. CIVA supported Rita Cooswoon, Auxiliary, as Head Lady Dancer during the Parker Reunion Dance and CIVA presented the Colors during the evening Grand Entry.

36. June 13, 09. CIVA presented the Colors at the Fort Sill Cemetery for the Parker Family Memorial at 10 a.m. CIVA gourd danced the afternoon and presented the Colors during the evening Grand Entry.

37. July 24, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased Veteran, Edward C. Willia.ms, MM 21d Class, US Navy, World War II. He was born December 28, 1917, Ninnekah, Okla. and passed away June 27, 2009, Claremore, Okla. He was buried July 24, 2009 in Oak Park Cemetery, Chandler, Okla.

38. August 6, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased Veteran, John A. Pewo, Airman First Class, US Air Force, 1961-1965. He was born May 15, 1942 and passed away August 3, 2009. He is buried in Cache Creek KCA Cemetery, Apache, Okla.

39. August 14, 2009. CIVA was Color Guard in the Military Funeral Honors for deceased veteran, Glenn Ha.milton, 86 years old, Combat Engineer, US. Army, served in World War II. He is buried in Elk Creek KCA Cemetery, Hobart, Okla.

40. August 29, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased Veteran Nabor Joseph Villicana, Sr., US Army. He is buried in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Okla.

41. September 11, 2009. CIVA did Military Funeral Honors for deceased Veteran Stanford Walker Saupitty, US Army. He is buried in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

42. September 16, 2009. CIVA installed a military marker for deceased Veteran Jackson Davis, Martha Cemetery, Martha, Okla.

43. September 18, 2009. CIVA installed a military marker for deceased Veteran Frankie Wauahdooah, US Army. He is buried in Little Washita Cemetery, Fletcher, Okla.

44. September 22, 2009. CIVA Color Guard, 8 A.m, raised the flag for the Shoshone Reunion at the Comanche Nation Headquarters.

45. September 22, 2009. CIVA Auxiliary did Funeral Service for CIVA Historian Zone Red Elk, Sumanski; she passed away September 18, 2009. Barbara Asepermy presented honors. She is buried in Walters Cemetery, Walters, Okla.

46. September 23, 2009. CIVA installed a Military Headstone for deceased Veteran Ernest J. Fawbush, US Navy. He is buried in Deyo Baptist Mission Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

47. September 24, 2009. CIVA Color Guard, 8 A.m, raised the flag for the Shoshone Reunion at the Comanche Nation Headquarters.

48. September 24, 2009. CIVA Color Guard, 1 p.m, presented colors for the Comanche Nation National Museum opening “50 Years of Pow-Wow”.

49. September 25, 2009 CIVA Color Guard 8 a.m, raised and retreat the colors and presented the colors in the Grand Entry, 7 p.m.

50. September 26, 2009. CIVA Color Guard, 8 a.m, raised and retreat the colors and presented the colors in the Grand Entry, 7 p.m.
