Our Mission is to increase awareness & prevent diabetes in American Indian and Alaska Native communities through exercise and nutrition.


This program encourages the use of the Indian Health Diabetes Best Practices and promotes the development of local programs based on local community needs and priorities of physical activities.

Diabetes Education and counseling is done at the participant's home, in office, community centers, Elder Center, health screenings and health fairs.
