Absentee Voting


All eligible tribal members will receive an absentee ballot and the election board will pay the return the postage.  Tribal members will not have to submit a request to receive an absentee ballot.

If you reside outside the six designated precincts or plan to be out of town on Election Day you have the opportunity to vote by absentee ballot. It is important that you have an updated address with the enrollment office.

Absentee Ballots must be received by mail in the Lawton Post Office no later than 12 noon on Election Day. Absentee Ballots will not be accepted In-Person by the Election Board or at the polls on Election Day.

Early "Early In-Person" - "Early In-Person" voting will be available to all voters wishing to vote EARLY regardless of where they reside. Early "Absentee In-Person" voting will be conducted at the Comanche Nation Complex from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday prior to the primary and run-off elections at the complex and the Elder’s Center in Lawton.
