Performs work to repair and otherwise maintain facility, furnishings and equipment. Effectively maintains clean and safe public and back of house areas for Comanche Nation Business Center and staff at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Cleans lobby, offices, lounges, rest rooms, conference rooms, and facility exterior;
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors;
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies;
  • Dusts furniture, artwork and picture frames;
  • Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills;
  • Empties wastebaskets;
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area;
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies;
  • Repositions tables and chairs etc. to original positions;
  • Keeps all public areas in the casino clean of any debris and trash at all times;
  • Repairs damaged facilities and furnishings;
  • Performs preventative maintenance as directed;
  • Paints, repairs and hangs drywall, wallpaper;
  • Performs minor repairs of plumbing systems and equipment;
  • Performs facility modifications as directed;
  • Cleans parking lot;
  • Repairs carpets;
  • Moves furniture and equipment;
  • Promptly responds to all repair requests;
  • Maintain lawn using lawn mower and weed eater;
  • Reports all defects in equipment and furniture and fixtures to the Office Manger when discovered;
  • Abides by all safety standards, established by the CNGC at all times;
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and CNGC polices and procedures, and to the MICS:

 

Qualifications and Requirements :

Required:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to maintain high confidentiality
• Valid Driver's License and be insurable on company's policy

Preferred:
• Prior experience with plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping and/or other construction and building trades preferred.

Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities :

There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

Working Environment and Conditions:

Performs duties in a well lighted, ventilated and temperature controlled office environment.

Licensing Requirements :

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Comanche Nation Gaming Commission (CNGC) Key License.
