Description

The Gaming Board of Directors of the Comanche Nation seeks a Controller with proven leadership in centralizing and managing all financial and account functions of the casinos, including cash management, the treasury function, revenue and expense analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial functions designated by the Board. The Controller will be responsible for developing goals, policies, procedures and appropriate software systems for these functions.

Candidates will support the performance goals and objectives set by the Board, and should have the capability and experience to provide leadership to work with and develop personnel that support the overall missing of gaming operations. The Controller will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Requirements:

A CPA or CMA and a bachelor's degree in business finance, accounting, or related field is required with a master's degree preferred. A combination of education and a minimum of 7-10 years in casino accounting management experience with at least 5 years in upper level management positions may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

A minimum of at least five years experience as a Controller is required. The candidate must have experience in managing financial functions and reporting for governmental entities. Experience in Tribal Class II and III (Oklahoma compact) gaming is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Must qualify for and maintain a Gaming License from the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission. Must undergo a background check for the licensing.
