Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily gaming operations and ensuring the efficiency and profitability of a Comanche Nation Casino facility in Southwest, Oklahoma. The General Manager will provide strong leadership in performing all functions of administrative management, strategic and tactical planning, organizational development, internal control, and managerial guidance.  The General Manager will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Responsibilities:

The General Manager will be responsible but not limited to maintaining internal controls and procedures to ensure protection of company assets and enforcement of casino policies/procedures and marketing strategy. Develop and implement business plans, organizational structure and budgets to maximize profit and support the performance goals and objectives set by the Comanche Nation Board of Directors. Candidates should have the capability and experience to provide managerial leadership involving employment, finance, marketing, IT, facilities, customer relations, and compliance with gaming regulations to support the overall mission of gaming operations.

Requirements:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, accounting or related field of study is preferred. A combination of education and 7-10 years in casino management experience with at least 5 years in upper level management positions will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

A minimum of 5-10 years of management experience with at least 5 years performing at a senior level is required. The candidate must have experience in finance, accounting, marketing, procurement, human resource management, policy/procedures writing, security/surveillance issues; experience in Indian Class II and III (compact) gaming is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Must qualify for and maintain a Gaming License from the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission. Must undergo a background check for the licensing.
