Information Technology Department

The Department of Information Technology provides the Comanche Nation Government with secure, reliable, and cost-­-effective technology solutions and advanced telecommunication services. The IT Department maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. The IT department also ensures the public has convenient and consistent access to the official Comanche Nation website; which provides the public with current events, information about our Nation, and servi ces available to all Comanche Members.

2009 Accomplishments

• Full Implementation of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications system.

• Launched Laserfiche, a document archiving system.

• Completed first phase of server virtualization.

• Migrated primary servers from Server 2003 32-­-bit to Server 2008 R2 64-­-bit.

• Assisted in adoption of sex offender database.

• Completed wiring and assimilation of new ICW, FAC, CRYS, and Fire station buildings.

• Relocated Law Enforcement from Administration to Fire station.

• Wired Woogie Hall.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for Shoshone Reunion.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for Comanche Nation Fair.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for Walters Powwow.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for General Council.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for Elder’s Day.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for Employee Appreciation Dinner.

• Provided Audio Visual Support for 4th of July Employee Cookout.

• Provided Audio Visual Support as well as configure laptops for Student Services Appreciation Dinner.

• Launched new Official Comanche Nation website.

• Launched Preventive Maintenance program for Computers and related equipment.

• Implemented biometric time clocks and time keeping system.
